Alkhidmat awards certificates to successful students of Skill Development Center

Alkhidmat Karachi has awarded certificates to successful students of its Skill Development Center who recently completed their 2 and 6-month Electrical, Mobile Repairing and Industrial Automation skills training courses and passed their examinations. These certificates were awarded by CEO Alkhidmat Karachi Naveed Ali Baig who was the Chief Guest of the ceremony held at the Alkhidmat Skill Development Center in PIB Colony. Also present on the occasion were Director Mawakhat Yousuf Muhyiudeen, Manager Mawakhat and SDC Muhammad Tariq and other senior officials. Speaking on the occasion, Naveed Ali Baig congratulated the successful students and said that Alkhidmat was doing its best to make the youth of Karachi skilled to help them earn a respectable livelihood for themselves. He disclosed that more than 130 students had completed their courses successfully in the short time since the inauguration of the SDC and expressed his pleasure that more than 70% of these students were already employed or self-employed in their respective professions, which was a sign of the success of the SDC. He also announced the starting of Spoken English courses in the coming days. Director Mawakhat Yousuf Muhyiudeen said that Alkhidmat intended to impart technical and vocational skills to such young men and women of the city who could not receive proper education due to a lack of resources. He said that Alkhidmat was also giving interest-free loans to such ambitious and hardworking people who wanted to set up their businesses but did not possess the necessary capital. This service was also available to graduates of the SDC, some of whom had availed this offer and started their own businesses. lastly, he appealed to the public to support Alkhidmat in these efforts and contribute to such causes.
