Alkhidmat conducts Emergency First Response training program for volunteers
Alkhidmat Karachi has conducted a unique Emergency First Response training program for its volunteers with the collaboration of expert trainers from Rescue 1122. Participants were trained on administering first response procedures during emergency life threatening situations like heart attacks, bleeding control, choking, paralysis, heat stroke and more. They were also taught how to carry and transport such patients towards medical facilities. Participants displayed great enthusiasm to learn these techniques during the training program, at the end of which, certificates and awards were distributed to the participants. According to the participants, the training program would help them to be of benefit to people around them in cases of emergency. Director Volunteer Management Alkhidmat Karachi Yousuf Mohideen and Senior Manager Sarfaraz Shaikh were also present at the conclusion of the program. Speaking on the occasion, Yousuf Mohideen congratulated the volunteers on learning a life-saving skill and urged them to continue serving society selflessly for which they would be rewarded by Allah.
