Alkhidmat felicitates Matric achievers from its Orphan Care program

Alkhidmat Karachi recently conducted its Shining Stars Talent Award ceremony felicitating students from its Orphan Care program who achieved high grades in the 2023 Matric exams. The ceremony which was attended by the children and their mothers was held at Alkhidmat Karachi’s head office and attended by Executive Director Alkhidmat Karachi Rashid Qureishi, Director Orphan Care Program Yousuf Mohiyudin, Senior Manager Resource Mobilization Inayatullah Ismail, Assistant Manager Orphan Care Program Haroon Rajput and other senior officials. Successful students who had achieved A and A1 grades were given the opportunity to appear for the Bano Qabil 2.0 Aptitude Tests and also awarded shields, certificates, cash prizes and school bags as gifts for their performances. Speaking on the occasion, Rashid Qureishi congratulated the children on their success and encouraged them to continue their progress towards a bright future while fulfilling their ambitions. He urged them not to forget their duty towards the nation and to become good Muslims. He said that Alkhidmat would offer them the opportunity of learning advanced IT skills which was why they were asked to appear for the Bano Qabil test. Yousuf Mohiyudin informed the students of the various courses that Alkhidmat was conducting such as Spoken English, Industrial Automation, Mobile Repairing, Advanced Tailoring and so on which they could choose to do. He also disclosed that Alkhidmat had a system of awarding scholarships and financial assistance to outstanding students. Besides, these students could offer their services as volunteers and participate in the various social activities that Alkhidmat was well-known for. Finally, Inayatullah Ismail also spoke to the students and reminded them that Alkhidmat was taking care of more than 1,800 orphans in the city out of which 70 outstanding students were chosen for these awards. He congratulated them and urged them to continue their hard work.
