Alkhidmat organizes RozaKushaiat Aghosh Homes

Alkhidmat Karachi recently organized a RozaKushai program at its Aghosh Homes for orphans at Gulshan-e-Maymar, Karachi. 15 children who had fasted for the very first time in their life were felicitated and garlanded during the function, and also given gifts. Senior Manager Alkhidmat KarachiInayatullah Ismail and Manager Orphan Care Program Musab bin Abdul Qadir were present on the occasion along with other senior officials. During the ceremony, resident children were told about the importance and purpose of fasting during Ramadan. CEO Alkhidmat Karachi Naveed Ali Baig said that Alhidmat Karachi was striving in the field of orphan care for a long time. Besides supporting families of orphans, its Aghosh Homes project was a unique initiative in which orphan children were being provided religious guidance and worldly education up to Inter level, along with first-class healthcare, food, residential facilities as well as recreational and entertainment activities including educational tours to historical places.He added that orphan care was not only a Sunnah of the Holy Prophet (SAWS) but a collective responsibility of the entire Muslim community. Giving an estimate of the costs, he disclosed that the outlay on each child was around PKR 20,000 per month and PKR 240,000 per year. Lastly he appealed to those with means to come forward and assist Alkhidmat Karachi in its efforts for orphans.
