Alkhidmat opens Bano Qabil’s IT courses for Madaris teachers
Alkhidmat Karachi has announced the opening of its popular free IT education program Bano Qabil for teachers of the Madaris system also. Making this announcement at the quarterly training session of Alkhidmat’s Madaris teachers, Executive Director Alkhidmat Karachi Rashid Qureishi said that it was Alkhidmat’s desire to impart modern skills to Madaris teachers. He lauded their monumental service to society by teaching the Holy Quran to young students which, he opined, was much more than a normal job which deserved great respect and praise. He went on to declare that Alkhidmat was planning to reward Madaris teachers on a similar level to other employees of the organization, including offering them the opportunity to learn vocational and technical courses at Alkhidmat’s Skill Development Center. Others who spoke on the occasion were Nazim-e-Aala Jamiat Ittehad ul Ulema Karachi Maulana Abdul Waheed, Acting Director of Madaris Alkhidmat Inayatullah Ismail and Chairman Union Council Korangi Town Maulana Qari Mansoor Ahmed. On his part, Maulana Abdul Waheed spoke on the importance of the belief in the finality of the Prophethood of Muhammad (SAWS) and called upon the teachers present there to instill a strong faith in their students in this belief, which was one of the foundations of Islam.
