Alkhidmat Organises skin diseases medical camp in Malir Jail; thousands benefit
Alkhidmat Karachi recently conducted a free medical camp for skin diseases among prisoners in Malir jail with thousands of inmates receiving check-ups. Expert doctors and paramedical staff conducted detailed examinations and distributed prescribed medications free of cost. Additionally, the doctors educated inmates about skin health and related issues. On this occasion, Executive Director Alkhidmat Karachi, Rashid Qureshi, Director of Community Services, Qazi Syed Sadruddin, SSP Malir Jail, Syed Arshad Ali Shah and other senior representatives of Alkhidmat were present. Rashid Qureshi and Qazi Syed Sadruddin inspected the camp and appreciated the cooperation extended by the jail administration in facilitating the event. Rashid Qureshi stated that Alkhidmat is dedicated to working for the welfare of inmates in jails. He highlighted that the free medical camp is a significant initiative, as skin-related issues are commonly observed among prisoners and must be addressed promptly to prevent larger health concerns. He also announced that, considering the prevalence of skin ailments among inmates, Alkhidmat plans to organize another camp within the next 15 days. SSP Malir Jail, Syed Arshad Ali Shah, praised the arrangements made for the medical camp and expressed gratitude to Alkhidmat for their support in organizing this welfare initiative.
