Alkhidmat running 97 Tafheem ul Qur’an Madaris in Karachi: Naveed Ali Baig

Chief Executive Officer, Alkhidmat Karachi, Naveed Ali Baig, stated that 97 Alkhidmat Madaris Tafheem-ul-Quran are currently operational in Karachi, educating more than 7,000 students. These madaris have already produced hundreds of Huffaz (memorizers of the Qur’an). Under Alkhidmat’s management, Qur’an memorization centers have been established in various areas of the city, including Korangi, Orangi, Malir, Buffer Zone, and Baldia, where children are being taught to memorize the Holy Qur’an. In his special statement yesterday, Naveed Ali Baig emphasized that Alkhidmat spends millions of rupees annually on these madaris. Besides Qur’anic education, the institutions focus on moral and character-building. On significant national days and Islamic festivals, students are introduced to the achievements of eminent Pakistani figures and Islamic history through special programs. He further highlighted that Alkhidmat regularly organizes training workshops and educational programs throughout the year to familiarize teachers with modern teaching methodologies, enhancing their instructional skills. Naveed Ali Baig stressed that providing religious education and awareness of Islamic history to the younger generation is a crucial need of the present time. He praised those involved in this noble cause, stating that teaching and memorizing the Quran is a great act of virtue. He reaffirmed Alkhidmat’s commitment to expanding these madaris further and appealed to philanthropists to support this initiative during the holy month by contributing to the Qur’an memorization program and the construction of new madaris.
