Alkhidmat sends another 20 containers of relief supplies to Gaza

Alkhidmat Karachi has stepped up its relief activities for the Palestinian people in Gaza in wake of the continuing aggression against them by Israel. Having dispatched seven relief consignments already by sea and air, Alkhidmat has shipped the latest consignment of 20 containers comprising 400 tons of relief supplies to Port Saeed in Egypt for further dispatch to the Rafah border. The supplies contain household necessities, family packs, jerry cans, cooked food tins, rice, medicine, and other goods. A number of dignitaries were present on the occasion of the dispatch, including Palestinian envoy Ahmed Rubaiye, President Alkhidmat Foundation Dr. Hafeez ur Rehman, CEO Alkhidmat Karachi Naveed Ali Baig, President and Chairman Alkhidmat Disaster Management Ejazullah Khan, President Alkhidmat Foundation Sindh Dr. Syed Tabassum Jafri, Engineer Sabir Ahmed, Additional Foreign Secretary Safeer Ahmed Amjad Ali as well as officials from NDMA and other welfare organizations. Palestinian envoy Ahmed Rubaiye thanked Alkhidmat for its unflinching support to the Palestinian cause, while Dr. Hafeez ur Rehman reiterated his commitment to face every hurdle and continue the relief activities for the beleaguered Muslims of Gaza. He said that apart from human casualties, almost all infrastructure had been destroyed by the Israeli army including hospitals and schools. CEO Naveed Ali Baig said that Palestinians are looking at their fellow Pakistani Muslims to come to their aid at this crucial moment, and appealed to the public to step forward and donate generously to this cause.
