Alkhidmat signs MoU with Indus College of Family Medicine and other health institutions

Alkhidmat Karachi has signed landmark MoUs with Indus Medical College of Family Medicine and Public Health (ICFMPH), Cordoba Care Institute and Best Care Hospital.Director Medical Services Alkhidmat Karachi, Dr. Saqib Ansari signed and exchanged the MoU documents with CEO Indus Medical College, Dr. Zafar Zaidi, Co-Founder Cordoba Care Institute, Malik Ahmed Jalal and Owner Best Care Hospital Dr. Syed Moinuddin Hussainiat a ceremony on Friday morning at Alkhidmat Hospital and Diagnostic Centre, Nazimabad. These MoUswere agreed withICFMPHfor training of MRCGP International candidates at Alkhidmat’s centers in Karachi, with Cordoba Care Institute for clinical rotations of Nursing & Diploma students at Alkhidmat Hospital & Diagnostic Center Nazimabad, and with Best Medical Care Hospital for bilateral referral of patients.PrincipalICFMPH, Dr.Faridah Amin, Senior Manager HR Habib ur Rehman and Dr. Faraz were also present at the ceremony. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Saqib Ansari said that building trust was of prime importance for medical providers and Alkhidmat had achieved this through its ethical approach and the humility and hard work of its workers.Dr. Zafar Zaidi outlined plans for expanding Indus Medical College into a university in the near future. Lauding Alkhidmat’s contribution in healthcare, he said that there was enormous scope for expanding public healthcare services in cooperation with Alkhidmat as the latter possessed a vast network of institutions such as hospitals, clinics and pharmacies along with workforce. Malik Ahmed Jalal also emphasized upon the need to provide reliable and quality health services at affordable rates to the public and reiterated his commitment to collaborate with Alkhidmat for this purpose. Dr. Syed MoinuddinHussaini expressed his pleasure on signing the MoU with Alkhidmat and expounded on the need to expand the primary health care network throughout the country. Dr.Faridah Amin pointed out the common vision of ICFMPH and Alkhidmat, and disclosed that general practitioners with a 5-year experience were eligible for MRCGP International training where they would be given guidelines for low-cost treatment of patients. Habib ur Rehman and Dr. Faraz informed the audience of the various areas of Alkhidmat’s welfare services besides Healthcare and expressed their pleasure at the MoUs with the three parties.
