Alkhidmat signs MoU with Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation

Alkhidmat Karachi has signed a landmark MoU with the Karachi Water and Sewerage Corporation (KW&SC) for the provision of medical facilities for the latter’s employees. The agreement was signed by Executive Director Alkhidmat Karachi Rashid Qureishi and Medical Director KW&SC Aamir Haleem during a ceremony at Alkhidmat’s head office. Several high-ranking officials from both sides were present at the event including Chief Financial Officer Alkhidmat Karachi Abul Aala Siddiqui, Medical Superintendent Alkhidmat Fareeda Yaqoob Hospital Dr. Zafar Iqbal, Head of Admin and Medical Services KW&SC Tahir Hameed, Gen. Sec. Jameel Saudagar and a large number of employees. The MoU was a result of the desire of the KW&SC to avail health facilities for their employees from Alkhidmat’s hospitals in Karachi. A team from KW&SC had also visited Alkhidmat’s hospital and diagnostic center in North Nazimabad where they were briefed about the advanced equipment and medical services provided there. Speaking on the occasion, Executive Director Rashid Qureishi said that Alkhidmat was providing advanced health facilities to common people at affordable rates without any discrimination of caste or creed to help them get the best treatment during these difficult days of high inflation. The agreement with KW&SC is evidence of the fact that Alkhidmat’s hospitals are considered as some of the best health institutions around. Acknowledging Alkhidmat’s welfare services all over the country, Aamir Haleem said that he hoped that the Authority’s employees would enjoy these health facilities with the same spirit of service expected from Alkhidmat. He added that KW&SC was always looking at ways to improve the working conditions for its employees, and the MoU with Alkhidmat was an example of the same.
