Alkhidmat takes orphan children on a fun and learning trip to PAF Musuem
Alkhidmat Karachi’s Orphan Care department recently took 250 orphan children from its Korangi cluster on a fun and educational trip to the PAF Musuem as part of its Clean & Green Pakistan campaign. The children were accompanied by their mothers as well as Director Orphan Care Program Yusuf Muhyiuddeen, Manager Orphan Care Program Musab bin Abdul Qadir and other officials. The children were shown the various airplanes and other exhibits at the museum as well as pictures of air force heroes and leaders. They were also told about the battles and victories of the country’s air force and the sacrifice of its officers, all of which interested the children very much. Later, the children also enjoyed themselves at the different game stalls in the museum park. Speaking on the occasion, Yusuf Muhyiuddeen said that Alkhidmat’s Orphan Care Program was not only taking care of orphans, but also instilling moral values in them to make them good citizens. He added that such trips were not only for entertainment purposes but also for creating awareness in the children about their history and culture. Encouraging the children, he called them the future of the nation and called upon people with means to come forward and support Alkhidmat in this endeavor, which would reward them in this life and the Hereafter. On the occasion of Pakistan Day, these orphan children also participated in a garbage-cleaning drive as part of the Clean & Green Pakistan campaign to prove that they were ready to play their role in the cleaning and greening of the nation.
