Alkhidmat Women’s Wing Trust distributes Winter Packages to needy families
Alkhidmat Women’s Wing recently distributed Winter Packages to over 100 needy families at a ceremony organized at the Alkhidmat’s head office. The event’s chief guest was Nazima, Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi’s Women’s Wing, Humaira Tariq, while President Alkhidmat Women’s Wing, MunawarIkhlas, along with other women officials, was also present. At the same time, deserving Christian families were also presented with gifts for the coming Christmas celebrations. Speaking on the occasion, Humaira Tariq stated that Alkhidmat was committed to bringing positive change in the lives of vulnerable communities. She emphasized that Alkhidmat has provided exemplary service across various sectors and that the families receiving winter packages deserve to lead better lives.In her speech, MunawarIkhlas highlighted the increased challenges faced by the underprivileged during the winter season. She mentioned that every year, Alkhidmat Women’s Wing organizes winter packages to support those in need. Just like previous years, the initiative continues this year to provide for the destitute and needy.MunawarIkhlas also acknowledged the contributions of philanthropists that made such efforts possible. She expounded on Alkhidmat’s activities, saying that Alkhidmat actively serves in various fields, including health, education, orphan care programs, clean water, microfinancing, disaster management, community services, and free eye surgeries, as well as the immensely popular and successful “Bano Qabil” program for free IT training for youth. Lastly, she urged philanthropists to support Alkhidmat’s diverse projects as a means to get closer to Allah.
