Alkhidmat’s directors resolve to enhance performances in the half-yearly review

Alkhidmat Karachi held its half-yearly meeting for directors at its head office recently which was chaired by CEO Naveed Ali Baig. The meeting was attended by Executive Director Rashid Qureishi as well as by the directors of all the departments of Alkhidmat including WASH, Health, Diagnostics, Pharmacy Services, Tafheem ul Madaris, Community Services, Mawakhat, Disaster Management, Bano Qabil, Volunteer Management, Orphan Care, Aghosh Homes, and others. Addressing the attendees, Naveed Ali Baig acknowledged the sacrifices of all the directors who were contributing with their time, money, and energy in a purely voluntary capacity. All the directors presented their respective departments’ achievements over the past six months and discussed the goals and challenges for the remainder of the year. They also resolved unanimously to enhance the performance and service levels of their departments to the highest possible levels. Describing the service of humanity as one of the most meritorious deeds that would be rewarded by Allah (SWT) Himself, Naveed Ali said that the feeling of being of help to others was an amazing feeling that could not be matched by anything else. He opined that there was still much scope for improvement in Alkhidmat’s services and promised that steps would be taken to ensure this in the future. Lastly, he announced the conduct of a big program at the beginning of 2025, the details of which he did not disclose.
