Alkhidmat’s Orphan Care felicitates Matric achievers  

Alkhidmat Karachi recently conducted a ceremony felicitating 50 orphan children registered in its Orphan Care program who had achieved high grades in their Matric exams. The ceremony which was attended by the children and their mothers was held at Alkhidmat Karachi’s head office and presided over by Executive Director Alkhidmat Karachi Rashid Qureishi. Also attending were Director Orphan Care Program Farooq Kamlani, Qazi Munir and Qazi Umair as well as other senior officials. The first three toppers were awarded a laptop each while Askari College announced a scholarship scheme for the top achievers. Speaking on the occasion, Rashid Qureishi congratulated the children on their success and realizing the dreams of their parents. He also acknowledged the hard work and dedication of their mothers who managed this without the presence of the children’s fathers. He encouraged the children to continue their progress towards a shining future and fulfill their ambitions. He added that Alkhidmat was supporting thousands of children with the hope that they would contribute positively to their families, society and country. Farooq Kamlani also congratulated the children on their achievement and expressed his desire to see them successful in the future too. At the end of the ceremony, shields and certificates were awarded to the deserving children.
