Alkhidmat’s Orphan Care organizes city-wide Seerat un Nabi programs
Alkhidmat Karachi’s Orphan Care department recently conducted programs on Seerat un Nabi for orphan children throughout Karachi. A large number of children participated enthusiastically in these programs which comprised quiz, speech and naat competitions on the topic of Seerat un Nabi. Senior officials from Alkhidmat were also present during these events along with mothers and guardians of the children from various clusters of the Orphan Care program in Landhi, Lyari, New Karachi and other areas. Winners of the competitions were awarded prizes and gifts for their performances. Speaking on the occasion, CEO Alkhidmat Karachi Naveed Ali Baig expressed his appreciation for the programs and said that the life of the Prophet (SAWS) held great guidance for children and adults alike. He stressed the importance of teaching Seerat un Nabi to children and providing them Islamic knowledge along with the knowledge of the world. Allah had sent His Messenger (SAWS) with the mission of spreading the message of Islam which the Messenger (SAWS) had accomplished with great sacrifice. He added the best guarantor of success in this life and the Hereafter was to follow the exemplary life of the Prophet Muhammad (SAWS) and practice his Sunnah as much as possible. Lastly, he said that Alkhidmat Karachi was taking care of 1,700 orphan children throughout Karachi and was providing them with both worldly and Islamic guidance.
