Alkhidmat’s Orphan Care organizes programs to welcome Ramadan

Alkhidmat Karachi’s Orphan Care Program recently arranged programs in many of its clusters in the city to welcome the holy month of Ramadan. The clusters included Lyari, New Karachi, Orangi, Airport, Korangi as well as other clusters in all the districts. A large number of orphan children, their mothers and guardians attended these programs, along with senior officials from Alkhidmat Karachi’s Orphan Care Program. Ramadan Cards and Namaz Cards were distributed among the children to create interest and enthusiasm among them for fasting and praying. Children will be filling these cards themselves as they monitor their religious activities during Ramadan. Workshops were held to guide the children and make them aware of the importance of prayer and fasting, especially in Ramadan. At the same time, Pakistan Day was also celebrated with programs such as speech and debate competitions among children to commemorate the occasion. Winners of these competitions were awarded gifts and certificates. Children were told about the Pakistan Resolution which was passed on March 23, instilling a sense of pride and patriotism among them.
