Alkhidmat’s orphan children visit Quaid-e-Azam Museum and Wazir Mansion

Alkhidmat Karachi’s Orphan Care department recently took orphan children under its care on an educational trip to the Quaid-e-Azam Museum and Wazir Mansion, the birthplace of the Founder of the Nation, Muhammad Ali Jinnah. The children, who were accompanied by senior officials of the Orphan care department, were taken around the different sections of the museum and shown the articles of daily use preserved at the museum. Besides these articles, the picture gallery and cars used by the Quaid aroused great interest in the children who asked many questions in this regard. Munir Khayal, Administrator of Wazir Mansion expressed his pleasure at the trip and provided interesting bits of information to the curious children. The children too were very happy at visiting these places of historical interest which gave them an idea of the life and times of the Quaid and his untiring efforts for his nation. It is worth noting that Alkhidmat not only sponsors orphan children but takes care of their educational, recreational and other needs too. These children are regularly taken on educational tours and excursions to broaden their mental horizons and make them aware of the country’s history and culture.
