Malaysian MPs visit Alkhidmat

Dr. Muhammad Khalil Abdul Hadi, Member of Parliament of Malaysia and Chairman, Foreign Bureau of Malaysia Islamic Party (PAS) recently visited Alkhidmat Karachi along with his fellow Malaysian Member of Parliament Shahril Azman Abdul Halim. Accompanied by General Secretary Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Munim Zafar, the delegation was received at the head office by Executive Director Alkhidmat Karachi Rashid Qureishi who briefed them about Alkhidmat’s welfare activities, especially the rescue, relief and rehabilitation operations during the recent floods. Acknowledging Alkhidmat’s welfare efforts, Dr. Abdul Hadi said that Malaysians were well aware and appreciative of Alkhidmat’s services. Expressing their pleasure at visiting Pakistan, he conveyed his country’s good wishes to Alkhidmat and said that Alkhidmat was performing a crucial role in Pakistan which had made it the country’s leading NGO. Rashid Qureishi reciprocated these wishes for the Malaysian people and said that Pakistanis have always considered Malaysia its brother-country. Lastly, he thanked the guests for visiting Alkhidmat and presented them with Ajraks as a memento.
