Plans to launch CSS preparation classes and sport programs: Hafiz Naeem
Ameer, Jamaat-e-Islami, Hafiz Naeem ur Rehman has said that following the huge success of the Bano Qabil free IT courses program, there are plans to launch CSS preparation classes and sport programs also. Criticizing the government machinery for failing in its duty to citizens despite having the funds at its disposal for these causes, he said that JI and Alkhidmat had stepped in to shoulder this massive responsibility. Speaking at a ceremony at Idara Noor-e-Haq to honour Alkhidmat’s volunteers who contributed to the arrangement of the massive Bano Qabil 2.0 Aptitude Test at Bagh-e-Jinnah, he thanked Allah and congratulated the volunteers and all team members of Jamaat-e-Islami and Alkhidmat Karachi as well as Usman Public School, Jamiat-e-Talba, Alkhidmat Madaris and JI Youth for their tireless efforts to make the event a huge success. Among those who addressed the audience were CEO Alkhidmat Karachi, Naveed Ali Baig, Program Director Bano Qabil Farooq Kamlani, and Project Director Bano Qabil Salman Sheikh. Besides, Executive Director Rashid Qureishi, Director Community Services Qazi Syed Sadruddin, Director Mawakhat Yousuf Muhyiudeen, JI Secretary Information Zahid Askari and other senior officials attended the event along with a large number of volunteers. CEO Alkhidmat Karachi, Naveed Ali Baig also thanked the volunteers and various teams as well as the instructors of the courses and said that the real reward for their hard work could only by given by Allah. He asked the audience to continue supporting Alkhidmat in its activities to serve the people. He disclosed that more than 10,000 students had passed their courses in Bano Qabil 1.0 for which they would be receiving an internationally accepted certification, adding that Bano Qabil 2.0 had received more than 100,000 registrations which was a sign of the popularity and success of the program. He also expressed his appreciation for Jamaat-e-Islami’s unique gesture of converting part of its premises into a Bano Qabil teaching center, an act which was unparalleled among political parties. He recounted some services that Alkhidmat was providing for the common man such as the 60 Water Filtration plants in the city and the advanced medical diagnosis services that Alkhidmat was providing at heavily subsidized rates, which were just a few examples of Alkhidmat’s efforts to make life better for the citizens of the country.
