
1,940 prisoners receive medical checkups in Malir Jail under Alkhidmat
Alkhidmat Karachi organized a free medical camp focused on skin diseases in Malir Jail. A total of 1,940 inmates were examined and given free medicines. During this time, Sindh Provincial Minister for Prisons, Haji Ali Hassan Zardari, made a routine surprise visit to the District Jail Malir. He was informed about the ongoing medical camp arranged by Alkhidmat for the prisoners. Expressing his interest, he visited the camp and praised Alkhidmat’s efforts. Present on the occasion were Senior Manager Alkhidmat Karachi Manzar Alam and Jail Superintendent Shahabuddin Siddiqui. The camp included 4 doctors, 4 paramedics, and other staff from Alkhidmat who thoroughly examined the patients, provided awareness about skin diseases, and offered guidance on leading a healthy life. Superintendent Siddiqui stated that Alkhidmat’s medical camp is a commendable effort. He noted that Alkhidmat has previously organized medical camps in Malir Jail and expressed his gratitude to Alkhidmat Karachi for this initiative. Senior Manager Manzar Alam said that Alkhidmat is working for the welfare of prisoners, and free medical camps in jails are part of this mission. He affirmed that, God willing, this series of camps will continue in the future.
