
Alkhidmat announces plan to develop youth skills, establish 3 new Skill Development Centers
Alkhidmat Karachi has announced the establishment of three new Skill Development Centers in Karachi, along with the launch of two new technical courses. The new centers will be established in Saddar, Metroville SITE, and Gulshan-e-Iqbal, while new courses in laptop repairing and solar inverter repairing will also be introduced. An iftar dinner and certificate distribution ceremony was recently organized at the Alkhidmat Head Office to honor students who successfully completed courses in mobile repairing, AC refrigeration, and electrician training from the Dhoraiji and PIB Colony campuses. The event was attended by Executive Director, Rashid Qureshi and other officials. Director Skill Development Program, Yousuf Mohiuddin and Senior Manager, Muhammad Tariq also addressed the ceremony. Speaking on the occasion, Chief Executive, Naveed Ali Baig said that Alkhidmat is committed to making the younger generation skilled and self-reliant. Alongside the success of the Bano Qabil IT courses program, Alkhidmat is working to provide youth with practical technical skills. Currently, four Skill Development Centers are operating in the city where youth are being trained in mobile repairing, solar PV technician training, AC refrigeration and electrical work, mobile automation, and other courses. He urged parents to encourage their children to learn technical skills in addition to IT. Naveed Ali Baig stated that thousands of students have already completed courses under the Skill Development Program, and Alkhidmat intends to expand the initiative further. He announced that after Eid ul Fitr, additional courses will be introduced and three new centers will become operational. He added that the new centers in Saddar, SITE Metroville, and Gulshan-e-Iqbal will provide more opportunities for young people to acquire valuable skills. Naveed Ali Baig also appreciated the dedication of supporters and urged philanthropists to contribute to this initiative. Director Skill Development Program Yousuf Mohiuddin said that many young people are choosing promising futures by learning skills through Alkhidmat’s programs. He congratulated the students who successfully completed their courses with dedication and hard work and expressed hope for their continued success. He also announced that the program has secured affiliation with the Sindh Board of Technical Education, enabling successful students to obtain officially recognized certificates from the board.
