Alkhidmat celebrates 78th Independence Day with flag-hoisting, cake-cutting, and tree-planting at head office

Alkhidmat Karachi celebrated Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day with great fervor in a ceremony that included flag-hoisting and the cutting of a cake prepared in national colours. Speaking on the occasion, CEO Alkhidmat Karachi, Naveed Ali Baig, said that Pakistan was not created easily; the Muslims of the subcontinent made great sacrifices for it. The shadow of Divine Majesty was upon the Muslims of the subcontinent when they took part in the Pakistan Movement with zeal and passion. Present on the occasion were Executive Director Rashid Qureshi, Director Bano Qabil program Farooq Kamlani, Director Diagnostic Services Dr. Azeemuddin, Director Volunteer Program Yousuf Mohiuddin, along with Alkhidmat officials, managers, and staff members. Badges and national flags were distributed among the staff during the ceremony. In his address, Naveed Ali Baig said that the Congress was the largest political party of the time, and it opposed the creation of Pakistan. However, Muslims were under the Divine Grace of Allah (SWT). Quaid-e-Azam did not back down from his stance, nor did he bow to any pressure — he too was under that same Divine Grace. Naveed Ali Baig further said that it is by the grace and mercy of Allah that He delivered us from every hardship and granted us a free Pakistan. Now, we must reflect on our responsibilities. It is our duty to implement an Islamic system in the country, and every citizen of Pakistan is responsible for contributing to its progress. We must take this country — and its youth — forward. At the conclusion of the ceremony, Naveed Ali Baig and other officials hoisted the national flag, cut the cake to celebrate Pakistan’s 78th anniversary, and planted a sapling in connection with Pakistan’s Independence Day.
