Alkhidmat concludes final phase of annual health screening for orphans
Alkhidmat has successfully completed the annual health screening for orphan children under its Orphan Care Program , A total of 2,200 children were screened at Alkhidmat hospitals and centers in Korangi, Orangi, North Karachi, Malir, Lyari, and other locations. Mothers and guardians were also present at the screening camps. Over 500 children from Central and North Karachi clusters underwent check-ups in the final phase. CEO Alkhidmat Karachi Naveed Ali Baig, Director Orphan Care, Yusuf Mohiuddin, District Central Leader Sohail Zaidi, Director Community Services Qazi Syed Sadruddinand District North Chief Tariq Mujtaba visited the camp to review the process. Doctors examined the children’s eyes, teeth, nose, ears, throat, as well as general health, and prescribed medications where needed. Some children were recommended further treatment for eye and dental care, which will be provided free of charge by Alkhidmat. On this occasion, CEO Naveed Ali Baig stated that Alkhidmat would cover the treatment costs for children recommended for additional care. Meanwhile, Qazi Sadruddin reiterated Alkhidmat’s committment to supporting the well-being of the children at home, while Tariq Mujtaba commended Alkhidmat’s services for orphaned children.
