Alkhidmat conducts annual prize distribution ceremony for Iqra Tafheem ul Quran students
Alkhidmat Karachi’s Iqra Tafheem ul Quran Buffer Zone recently conducted its annual prize distribution ceremony for Hifz ul Quran and Nazra students. Seven students who had completed their Hifz ul Quran and 40 who had finished their Nazra were awarded certificates and prizes for their accomplishments. Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Munim Zafar was the Chief Guest on the occasion while Manager Alkhidmat Madaris Tafheem ul Quran Hanif Akbar, Principal, Buffer Town Madrasa, Fazl-e-Ahad and other senior officials also attended the event. Students presented tableaus and speeches during the function. Speaking on the occasion, Munim Zafar congratulated the successful students and their parents and acknowledged their hard work and sacrifice. He said that Alkhidmat was running five Iqra schools and 75 madaris in the city where apart from memorization of the Qur’an, children are also being educated in general Qur’anic subjects and character-building under dedicated instructors. Apart from normal courses, children also engage in extra-curricular activities to broaden their skills and prepare them for practical life after they leave their institutions. He expressed his opinion that it was necessary for spreading the message of the Holy Quran during these turbulent times. Fazl-e-Ahad also congratulated the students and encouraged them to continue studying the Quran and inviting others towards it.
