Alkhidmat conducts Emergency First Aid and Rescue Training for Volunteers

In view of the ongoing wartime situation in the country, Alkhidmat Karachi organized a special emergency First Aid and Rescue Training session for volunteers. The purpose of the training program was to prepare volunteers for crisis situations that require immediate assistance and rescue operations. During the training sessions, volunteers received hands-on training in first aid, safely moving injured individuals to secure locations, and other emergency techniques. On this occasion, Alkhidmat Karachi Executive Director Rashid Qureshi and Senior Manager Alkhidmat Disaster Management Sarfaraz Sheikh met with the participating volunteers and appreciated their enthusiasm. Rashid Qureshi stated that while Alkhidmat is serving people in various sectors of life, it has also been at the forefront during emergencies like earthquakes, floods, and torrential rains. He emphasized that in the current wartime circumstances, such training for volunteers has become indispensable. This professional preparation enables them not only to save lives but also to rescue and provide relief to those trapped in difficult situations. He added that Alkhidmat has always stood by the nation in challenging times, and now, God willing, this training initiative will be further expanded. The current scenario, resembling a Pakistan-India war, demands the best possible training for volunteers. Rashid Qureshi reiterated that helping the public in times of hardship is Alkhidmat’s top priority. A large number of young volunteers participated in the training sessions, determined to step forward in every kind of national crisis to support the country. Meanwhile, a two-day civil defense training camp was also held at the Sindh Boys Scouts Center, in which Alkhidmat volunteers took part enthusiastically. The trained volunteers received practical training in first aid, emergency response, and civil defense. The purpose of the camp was to enhance preparedness for dealing with natural disasters and emergency situations effectively.
