Alkhidmat Conducts Volunteer Training Workshop in JPMC

Alkhidmat Karachi’s Volunteer Management department recently organized a training workshop to equip volunteers to deal with emergency situations. The workshop, which was attended by a large number of Alkhidmat volunteers including college and university students, was conducted in collaboration with Rescue 1122 and the Study Aid Project. These volunteers were trained in managing emergencies, saving lives, and providing first aid. Expert trainers from Rescue 1122 conducted the training, and certificates were distributed at the end of the session. Speaking at the event, Executive Director Alkhidmat Karachi Rashid Qureshi emphasized that Alkhidmat aims to equip its volunteers with life-saving skills so they can effectively handle emergencies and assist in difficult situations without panic. He mentioned that Alkhidmat was committed to providing such training to all its volunteers. Director of Disaster Management, Qazi Syed Sadruddin, remarked that Alkhidmat has decades of experience in volunteer work in disaster management. Over the years, hundreds of volunteers have served during the crises created by the 2005 earthquake, floods and heavy rains, setting a rich legacy of service where serving humanity was the foremost goal. Director of Volunteer Management, Yousuf Mohiuddin, congratulated the volunteers for completing the training successfully and added that the purpose of this training was to instill confidence and skills for volunteers to serve people during emergencies.
