Alkhidmat dispatches 24th batch of reliefs to oppressed Palestinians

Alkhidmat Foundation has dispatched the 24th batch of relief supplies for the oppressed Palestinians from Karachi airport. The 40 tons of relief goods were sent to Jordan via a chartered aircraft, from where they will be delivered to the suffering Palestinian people. The supplies included tents, medicines, medical equipment, and other essential items. Present on the occasion were Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Munim Zafar Khan, Chief Executive of Alkhidmat Naveed Ali Baig, Vice President of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Ejazullah Khan, Town Chairman, North Nazimabad Town, Atif Ali Khan, along with other officials and representatives of NDMA. Speaking to the media at the time of dispatch, Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Karachi Munim Zafar Khan said that this is the 24th batch sent by Alkhidmat, consisting of tents, medical equipment, medicines, and other supplies. Previously, 19 batches were sent by air and 4 by sea. He stated that so far more than 51,000 Palestinians have been martyred and hundreds of thousands injured. Millions have been displaced. They lack food, medicines, and even shelter. Witnessing their hardships fills our hearts with sorrow. He emphasized that as Muslims, it is our duty to assist our oppressed Palestinian brothers and sisters in their time of need. Munim Zafar Khan also praised the spirit of the people of Karachi and Pakistan and appealed to philanthropists to step forward and support Alkhidmat’s efforts for the Palestinian cause. Chief Executive Alkhidmat Karachi Naveed Ali Baig said that this is a small service that Alkhidmat is rendering. He affirmed that Alkhidmat remains committed to providing as much support as possible to Palestinian brothers and sisters, and after the cessation of hostilities, will assist in reconstruction efforts. He added that Alkhidmat has been actively serving the Palestinian people since day one and that this humanitarian mission will, God willing, continue in the future as well. He expressed gratitude to government institutions and the people of Pakistan for their support and assistance to Alkhidmat in this endeavor.
