Alkhidmat distributes rations to thousands during Ramadan

Chief Executive Officer Alkhidmat Karachi, Naveed Ali Baig, has stated that Alkhidmat’s Community Services department distributed thousands of ration bags under the Ramadan Food Package initiative to ensure that the underprivileged could also partake in the blessings of the holy month. He emphasized that this ration distribution program has been ongoing for years, with Alkhidmat ensuring that it upholds the dignity of the beneficiaries throughout the process. In his special statement, he further elaborated that the distributed food packages contained flour, sugar, lentils, cooking oil, tea leaves, powdered milk, beverages, dates, gram flour, and other essential items. For the efficient packing and distribution of ration, Ration Hubs were set up, including a Central Food Hub and 13 ration centers across all districts. These centers supplied Alkhidmat offices with ration throughout Ramadan, from where it was then distributed to deserving individuals and families. Additionally, Alkhidmat slaughtered hundreds of chickens daily and distributed the meat to needy families. Naveed Ali Baig highlighted that Alkhidmat’s Community Services Department remains active throughout the year, providing various forms of assistance, with its responsibilities significantly increasing during Ramadan. He pointed out that the rising inflation in the country has made life difficult for the underprivileged. Keeping this in mind, Alkhidmat distributes ration and chicken meat during Ramadan so that struggling individuals can benefit from these blessings. He appealed to philanthropists and well-wishers to support Alkhidmat’s initiatives in serving humanity.
