
Alkhidmat honours volunteers, awards certificates for outstanding services
Chief Executive Alkhidmat Karachi Naveed Ali Baig has stated that Alkhidmat’s true assets are its selfless volunteers who are always at the forefront of service to the oppressed and poor – and will continue to do so in the future. Alkhidmat’s volunteers serve with dedication and passion throughout the year with the single goal of attaining the pleasure of Allah. He expressed these thoughts while addressing the Eid gathering and certificate distribution ceremony held in honor of the volunteers under the Alkhidmat Volunteer Program at the Faran Club yesterday. During the event, certificates were awarded to all volunteers in recognition of their tireless service to humanity. A large number of volunteers attended the ceremony, which was also dedicated as a gesture of solidarity with the oppressed people of Palestine. On this occasion, Executive Director Alkhidmat Karachi Rashid Qureshi was also present along with Director Volunteer Program Yousuf Mohiuddin, Senior Manager Volunteer Program Asad Qureshi, Manager Volunteer Program Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Tanveer Hussain, and Manager Media Ubaid-ur-Rehman. Naveed Ali Baig said, “Your spirit as volunteers is commendable. You remain engaged with Alkhidmat throughout the year, actively participate in projects, and through your dedication and hard work, help make these programs successful. You all deserve congratulations.” Director Volunteer Program Yousuf Mohiuddin said, “Volunteers are vital to any NGO, and you have proven this with your actions. You have the capability, strength, and passion to serve the creation of Allah—and this spirit is both admirable and valuable.” Manager Volunteer Program, Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, Tanveer Hussain said, “Currently, the largest volunteer program in the country is that of Alkhidmat, with 50,000 volunteers as part of this network. Awareness is increasing among students in colleges and universities, and they are coming forward to offer their services as volunteers.”
