Alkhidmat Hospital Nazimabad Receives Regular License from Sindh Healthcare Commission

Alkhidmat Hospital Nazimabad has been granted a regular license by the Sindh Healthcare Commission after a detailed inspection and completion of a rigorous evaluation process. CEO of the Sindh Healthcare Commission, Dr. Ahsan Qavi Siddiqui, presented the license certificate to CEO Alkhidmat Karachi, Naveed Ali Baig in a formal ceremony. During the event, Director Medical Services, Dr. Saqib Ansari, gave a comprehensive briefing on the services and quality standards maintained at Alkhidmat Hospital. Also present were Director of Sindh Healthcare Commission Dr. Altaf Hussain Khawaja, Deputy Director Dr. Nargis Kulsoom, Director of Diagnostic Services Dr. Azeemuddin, and other officials from Alkhidmat’s Health Department. Speaking to the media, Dr. Ahsan Qavi Siddiqui stated that when the Sindh Healthcare Commission issues a license to any healthcare institution, it does so only after confirming compliance with its prescribed rules and standards. “Institutions obtaining licenses must ensure the provision of quality healthcare to patients,” he said. “Before granting a regular license, hospitals go through multiple stages, including registration and provisional licensing.” He noted that there are currently 132 licensed hospitals in Sindh. Dr. Siddiqui emphasized that the establishment of illegal or unqualified clinics is a criminal act, and while the Commission can close such clinics, legal action falls under the jurisdiction of other authorities. He appreciated Alkhidmat Hospital for fulfilling all requirements and stressed that maintaining and continuously improving service quality after obtaining the license is equally important. CEO Alkhidmat Karachi, Naveed Ali Baig, expressed gratitude to the Commission, calling the regular license a significant milestone for Alkhidmat. “This achievement reflects our commitment to quality healthcare. We aim to sustain and enhance these standards further,” he said. Naveed Ali Baig added that Alkhidmat, as a leading organization, will continue working toward providing world-class medical facilities at its Nazimabad hospital and plans to secure regular licenses for its other hospitals as well.
