Alkhidmat Opens New Clinic and Pharmacy in Naseerabad, FB Area

Alkhidmat Karachi’s Health department has opened a new clinic and pharmacy in Naseerabad, Federal B Area. The inauguration was carried out yesterday by CEO of FITE and former Chairman of the Federal B. Area Association of Trade and Industry, Babar Khan. The event was also addressed by CEO Alkhidmat Karachi, Naveed Ali Baig, and Ameer, Jamaat-e-Islami District Gulberg, Kamran Siraj. Present at the occasion were Dr. Azeemuddin (Director, Alkhidmat Diagnostic Services), Dr. Saqib Ansari (Director, Health Services Alkhidmat), and Syed Jamshed Ahmed (Director, Pharmacy Services). Dignitaries and residents of the area also attended. Guest of honour, Babar Khan, said in his address that Alkhidmat is providing citizens with modern and quality healthcare facilities, while its diagnostic labs offer testing services of high standards at affordable rates. He said Alkhidmat believes in serving people. Karachi is ranked 170th among the world’s worst cities, with countless problems, yet Alkhidmat continues its public service work, which is commendable. He congratulated Alkhidmat on setting up a quality clinic and pharmacy for the residents of the Federal B. Area and urged locals to benefit from these facilities. CEO Alkhidmat, Naveed Ali Baig, stated that this is not just a medical center — Alkhidmat operates dozens of such medical centers, pharmacies, and clinics across Karachi. Alkhidmat ensures that the middle-class population has access to quality medical care, medicines, and diagnostic services. He added that Karachi’s public is facing difficulties in healthcare; providing healthcare and education is the government’s job, but Alkhidmat is doing this work. In many hospitals where fees are low, the quality of care is poor. In contrast, Alkhidmat prioritizes quality while offering affordable rates. He said that Alkhidmat’s 20 pharmacies in the city provide temperature-controlled medicines, with strict monitoring to prevent counterfeit drugs. Expired or fake medicines are completely absent from their outlets. Across Karachi, Alkhidmat pharmacies offer the lowest prices with a 15% discount. Legally, every medical store or pharmacy must have a pharmacist, yet 80% to 90% of pharmacies do not. A pharmacist can properly guide patients and their families about alternative medicines. Federal B. Area is one of Karachi’s most important regions — it is the “voice of the city’s heart.” This clinic and pharmacy will allow residents to access quality facilities. He further said that Alkhidmat is not only working in healthcare but also in clean water provision. Through its 70 water filtration plants in the city, it provides clean drinking water, has installed hundreds of submersible pumps, and supports 32,000 orphaned children in their homes across the country. In Aghosh Homes, children are provided with quality accommodation, food, and education. The “Bano Qabil” program has been launched nationwide, enabling youth to transform their lives. In Karachi alone, over 55,000 children have completed Bano Qabil courses, with hundreds now supporting their families. Alkhidmat will continue serving the public. Ameer of Jamaat-e-Islami District Gulberg, Kamran Siraj, said that they had promised to serve the people, and that service is being fulfilled through Alkhidmat. Their sole purpose is public service. The establishment of this pharmacy and clinic is a commendable step that will allow residents to access high-quality services.
