Executive Director, Alkhidmat Karachi, Rashid Qureshi, stated that Alkhidmat’s ongoing projects should be completed as soon as possible. The heads of Alkhidmat’s departments are its representatives and should bring their full potential to bear in playing an exemplary role in serving the people. The meeting was attended by senior managers, managers, and deputy managers of all programs and departments. The meeting reviewed the performance of all programs and departments during the first quarter, as well as the status of ongoing projects. Future plans and strategies were also discussed. All senior managers and managers briefed the meeting about their departmental performance and upcoming targets. The performance of all departments was appreciated. Changes were made to the managerial positions across different departments, and responsibilities were assigned to new managers. The meeting also reviewed the performance and preparedness of the Resource Mobilization, Volunteer, and Disaster Management departments during the wartime situation between Pakistan and India, and praised the training efforts. In his address, Rashid Qureshi said that Alkhidmat’s volunteers had been put on alert during the wartime situation. However, it is now essential to ensure regular training for volunteers. The Disaster Management heads should strengthen coordination with volunteer training institutions, Alkhidmat’s district leadership, and other emergency organizations.
