Alkhidmat Women’s Trust organized a “Mega Packing Drive” at Bahadurabad for families affected by the recent floods. To ensure swift relief for flood-hit families, all regional chapters of Alkhidmat Women Trust have been carrying out relief activities, with essential supplies being dispatched to the affected areas. The Mega Packing Drive was inaugurated by CEO Alkhidmat Karachi, Naveed Ali Baig, while Executive Director Rashid Qureshi, Chairperson Alkhidmat Women Trust, Naveeda Anees, and other female representatives were also present. A large number of students from schools and colleges, families, supporters, and volunteers participated actively in the packing drive. During the briefing, it was shared that the items being packed included essential supplies for mothers and newborns, along with other necessary relief goods, all of which would soon be sent to flood-affected areas. Speaking on the occasion, Naveed Ali Baig said: “Alkhidmat is extending large-scale assistance to flood victims, providing them with daily necessities including mother and child care essentials. This is the fifth packing drive organized by Alkhidmat Women Trust for flood-affected families, and it is truly encouraging to see our women working with such passion and dedication.” He added: “In both times of crisis and normalcy, Alkhidmat has always served the nation. We appeal to philanthropists to support Alkhidmat in its efforts to aid flood victims.” Chairperson Alkhidmat Women Trust, Naveeda Anees, said: “Complete data has been collected on pregnant women residing in the flood relief camps, so that priority assistance can be provided to those nearing delivery. This packing drive focuses on preparing and delivering essential items for mothers and newborns to ensure timely support.” Shehnaz Iqbal added: “Serving the people of Pakistan in every time of hardship is Alkhidmat’s hallmark. We appeal to philanthropists to stand with Alkhidmat Women Trust and come forward to help our affected brothers and sisters.
