Alkhidmat Women’s Wing Organizes Practical Training on Funeral Rites for Female Volunteers
Alkhidmat Women’s Wing organized a practical training session on funeral rites (Tajheez-o-Takfeen) for its female volunteers. The session provided detailed and hands-on training on giving the ritual bath, shrouding the deceased, and other important matters related to funeral preparation.
The training was conducted by a well-known Hajj trainer, teacher, and instructor at the Qur’an Institute, who explained the complete procedure of giving the ritual bath and other related stages, followed by practical demonstrations. Female volunteers not only asked questions but also actively participated in the exercises, benefiting fully from the training. At the conclusion of the event, Ms. Munawwar Ikhlas, President of Alkhidmat Women, and Ms. Talat Zaheer, Founder of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan Women’s Wing, distributed certificates among the participants and congratulated them on completing their training.
On the occasion, Munawwar Ikhlas stated: “Alkhidmat Women’s Wing has provided practical training in funeral rites to our female volunteers with the aim of empowering them in the fields of religion, society, and humanitarian service, so that they may serve their communities more effectively whenever the need arises.”
