Alkhidmat Women’s Wing Trust launches Mega Packing Drive for Palestinian and Lebanese women and newborns
Alkhidmat Women’s Wing Trust Pakistan recently organized a “Mega Packing Drive” to prepare essential supplies for Palestinian and Lebanese women and newborns. A large number of volunteers from Alkhidmat Women’s Trust, along with students from schools, colleges and universities participated in the event held at a local hall. The packed items included medicines, clothing, food supplies, essentials for pregnant women and newborns, and hygiene kits. Relief goods worth millions of rupees were prepared for shipment to Lebanon. Dr. Hafeez ur Rehman, President of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, inspected the packing drive, reviewed the process, expressed satisfaction, and praised the dedication of the women and volunteers involved. He highlighted the dire situation in Lebanon and Palestine, sharing his personal experience of visiting war-affected camps in Lebanon. He noted that people in these camps lack food, drinking water, and basic necessities, leading to a life of immense hardship. Dr. Hafeez ur Rehman commended the Women’s Wing’s efforts and stated that Alkhidmat has already sent aid worth millions of rupees to the affected populations in Lebanon and Palestine. He assured that this new batch of aid will soon reach the victims. He also appealed to the nation to show solidarity with their oppressed Palestinian and Lebanese brothers and sisters by actively supporting Alkhidmat’s initiatives. Ejazullah Khan, Vice President of Alkhidmat Foundation Pakistan, also visited the packing drive and reviewed the process. He emphasized that Alkhidmat stands firmly with the distressed Palestinian and Lebanese communities during these challenging times and will continue supporting their complete rehabilitation. Navida Anees, Chairperson of Alkhidmat Women’s Wing Trust, shared that the Women’s Wing had so far delivered five containers worth Rs. 30 million to Alkhidmat Foundation’s warehouses. She affirmed that the Alkhidmat Women’s Wing Trust will continue its efforts to assist Lebanese and Palestinian brothers and sisters in need.
