
Alkhidmat’s “Internship Program” concludes — Certificates awarded to hundreds of students
Alkhidmat Karachi’s Volunteer Management Program held a certificate distribution ceremony at a local hall for participants of the “Summer Internship Program 2025.” A total of 384 students from various public and private universities across the city took part in the internship. The program aimed to provide students with required internship experience in accordance with the Higher Education Commission (HEC) guidelines, aligning academic learning with industrial and organizational needs. The internships were conducted across 13 departments of Alkhidmat. During the special ceremony, the interns presented their project reports, highlighting their creative skills and enthusiasm for humanitarian service. Their efforts were appreciated, and they were awarded certificates of recognition. Director WASH Program Gohar-ul-Islam, departmental managers, and other officials also attended the event. CEO Alkhidmat Karachi, Naveed Ali Baig, addressed the ceremony, saying: “Today’s youth are highly talented — they only need platforms to express themselves. Life offers countless opportunities, and it’s up to us whether we use them for good or let them slip away. It’s heartening to see hundreds of young people joining Alkhidmat as volunteers and dedicating their time to serve humanity purely for the sake of Allah’s pleasure.” Executive Director Rashid Qureshi congratulated all the interns, saying that Alkhidmat stands with young people to guide and polish their abilities. Director Volunteer Program Yousuf Mohiuddin said: “The future belongs to youth. This system is yours, and improving it is your responsibility. You are fortunate to be connected with Alkhidmat as volunteers.” Mr. Israr Alvi, Vice President of Innovative Private Ltd., delivered a special lecture on “Bridging the Gap Between Education and Employment — From Campus to Career,” offering practical advice on preparing for professional challenges. Other speakers noted that Alkhidmat’s “Summer Internship Program” provides young people with a unique opportunity to learn, lead, and serve society. The program’s goal is to equip the younger generation with community service experience, professional training, and practical exposure so they can play a positive role in society in the future.
