
Alkhidmat’s Orphan Care program organizes Palestinian solidarity event
An Eid Milan celebration event was organized at Faran Club by Alkhidmat Karachi under its Orphan Care Program to express strong solidarity with the oppressed Palestinian brothers, sisters, and children. A large number of talented orphan children participated in the event. Special tableaus and poems were presented to express solidarity with the Palestinian people, highlighting the atrocities faced by innocent children, the struggle for self-determination, and the yearning for peace. A puppet show was also arranged for the children’s entertainment. The chief guest was Alkhidmat Karachi’s Executive Director Rashid Qureshi, while Director Orphan Care Program, Yousuf Mohiuddin, also addressed the gathering. On the occasion, Alkhidmat’s Orphan Care Program Manager Shehzad Khalil and other officials were also present. In his address, Executive Director Rashid Qureshi said, “You children are the bright future of this country. One day, you will take the reins of this nation. You must prove your abilities in various fields of life. Therefore, you must work hard and pursue education with dedication for the sake of this country and nation.” He advised the children to make truthfulness an essential part of their lives. He also appreciated the spirit of love and solidarity shown towards the Palestinian brothers and sisters. Director of Alkhidmat Orphan Care Program Yousuf Mohiuddin said in his address that the purpose of organizing such events is not only to provide children with an opportunity to come together, but also to guide them towards quality education and training, so they can learn something meaningful. He stated that the Alkhidmat Orphan Care Program is not only committed to the education and upbringing of brave children, but also provides opportunities for personality development and raising social awareness. Yousuf Mohiuddin emphasized that expressing solidarity with Palestinians is our religious and moral responsibility.
