Bano Qabil has become the largest free IT educational network: Naveed Ali Baig
CEO Alkhidmat Karachi, Naveed Ali Baig, said that Alkhidmat’s Bano Qabil Program has now become the largest free IT educational network in Pakistan. He said that 1.25 million young people across the country are already connected with the program, and this number is expected to reach two million in 2026. He stated that nations that fall behind in technology can no longer win wars, and the new generation must move forward in the field of technology. He expressed these views while addressing an iftar dinner organized under the Alkhidmat Volunteer Program at KMA Community Hall. The event was attended by Director Bano Qabil Program, Farooq Kamlani, Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami District South, Sufyan Dilawar, Senior Manager Alkhidmat Volunteer Program, Asad Qureshi, and a large number of students. On this occasion, Asad Ejaz delivered a lecture on enhancing the abilities and potential of young people. In his address, Naveed Ali Baig said that when the Bano Qabil Program was first launched, the aim was to provide IT education to four to five thousand young people. However, when the Bano Qabil 1.0 test was held at Bagh-e-Jinnah, nearly 100,000 young men and women participated. Seeing such immense interest from the youth, the organizers decided to expand the initiative further, and subsequent sessions of the program were successfully completed. He added that the program has now spread to 24 cities across Pakistan, and hundreds of Bano Qabil campuses have been established. According to him, young people have immense potential and can achieve global success by advancing in technology. He emphasized that modern wars are technology-based, where armies do not necessarily confront each other directly, and nations that fall behind technologically cannot succeed. Naveed Ali Baig further stated that there is great potential in the IT sector, and young people can play a vital role in changing the destiny of the country through technology. He added that Alkhidmat aims to empower youth, and the Bano Qabil Program has proven to be a game changer for them. He encouraged young people to join the program.
