CEO Alkhidmat Naveed Ali Baig thanks donors for record Qurbani hide collection

Chief Executive, Alkhidmat Karachi, Naveed Ali Baig, has disclosed that Alkhidmat received a record number of hides this Eid-ul-Adha compared to previous years. He expressed gratitude to the people of Karachi for contributing a record number of sacrificial hides. Under Alkhidmat’s Qurbani campaign, hundreds of animals were sacrificed purely for the sake of Allah, with generous participation from philanthropists. The meat was distributed among the needy and deserving. He made these remarks in a special statement, highlighting that Alkhidmat’s hundreds of volunteers not only participated in the meat distribution process over all three days of Eid but also worked actively at regional hide collection centers. Naveed Ali Baig said that many citizens also took part in the collective Qurbani program, for which slaughterhouses were set up in all city districts. He added that Alkhidmat included Palestinian brothers and sisters and Rohingya refugees in the Eid celebrations this year as well, arranging Qurbani for them and delivering meat to them. Earlier on Eid, Naveed Ali Baig visited the central hide collection center of Alkhidmat and reviewed the process of receiving and preserving hides. Executive Director Rashid Qureshi visited various slaughterhouses, inspected the meat preparation and packaging processes, and later toured the hide collection centers, reviewing arrangements and appreciating the efforts of all staff and volunteers.
