Karachi Youth Summit will bring Gen Alpha and Gen Z together on one platform: Naveed Ali Baig

CEO Alkhidmat Karachi, Naveed Ali Baig, stated that through the Karachi Youth Summit, Alkhidmat aims to bring Generation Alpha and Generation Z together on a single platform. He emphasized the need to promote volunteerism, adding that youth can contribute not only to social service but also to improving the overall conditions of the city. He expressed these views while addressing a special Eid gathering organized by Alkhidmat’s Volunteer Management program in a local hall, held to appreciate volunteers who rendered services during Ramadan. A large number of volunteers attended the ceremony and were awarded certificates in recognition of their outstanding contributions. On the occasion, Director Alkhidmat Medical Services, Dr. Saqib Hussain Ansari and Senior Manager Volunteer Management Program, Asad Qureshi also addressed the gathering. Executive Director Rashid Qureshi and other officials were present. Naveed Ali Baig announced that the Karachi Youth Summit will be held in September this year, and preparations are already underway. He urged young people, especially students from colleges and universities, to adopt volunteerism and become part of Alkhidmat’s mission of service. He said that youth are the future of the nation, and serving humanity is a noble act that earns both spiritual reward and purpose in life. He praised the role of volunteers who actively participated in service activities during Ramadan. Dr. Saqib Hussain Ansari encouraged volunteers to help people in difficult times, calling it a great virtue. He emphasized that individuals should strive to benefit others and play a constructive role in society to attain both inner satisfaction and the pleasure of God. Senior Manager Asad Qureshi stated that the Karachi Youth Summit focuses on promoting social responsibility among youth. He added that Alkhidmat is working to organize and engage young people through this platform. Inter-city level competitions among Gen Alpha and Gen Z will also be arranged, with initial competitions expected to begin in April. He further mentioned that the volunteer registration process will be accelerated, with ongoing coordination at colleges and universities to expand participation. He concluded that through the Karachi Youth Summit, youth will be empowered and guided toward a more active and impactful role in society.
