New batches of Alkhidmat’s Skill Development Program to begin in the last week of April: Alkhidmat CEO

In a recent statement, Chief Executive Officer, Alkhidmat Karachi, Naveed Ali Baig, stated that the youth are the valuable asset of the nation, and Alkhidmat Karachi is empowering them through its Skill Development Program. He shared that hundreds of young people have already been trained to help them avoid despair and support their families with dignity through skilled work. He announced that new batches under the Skill Development Program will commence in the last week of April. Alongside its other welfare initiatives, Alkhidmat is taking practical steps to empower the youth. This program provides technical training aligned with modern-day requirements so that young people can secure respectable employment. Naveed Ali Baig added that currently, Alkhidmat is regularly offering courses in Mobile Repairing, Solar PV Technician, Electrician, Advanced Tailoring, AutoCAD, Motorcycle Mechanic, AC & Refrigerator Repair, and Industrial Automation. Hundreds of youth have completed these courses and have either started their own businesses or secured jobs. He emphasized that many students who are unable to pursue further education after matriculation or intermediate often fall into despair or destructive paths due to unemployment. In such circumstances, the Alkhidmat Skill Development Program serves as a beacon of hope, equipping youth with skills and helping them become productive members of society. These courses present a golden opportunity for the youth to build a promising future. He also mentioned that currently, two Skill Development Centers operated by Alkhidmat are functional in Karachi—one in PIB Colony and the other in Qasba Colony—where young people are being trained in various skills. Naveed Ali Baig encouraged youth to take advantage of these courses for a better future for themselves and their families.
