“Remember Palestinians in Your Prayers on Eid-ul-Fitr: CEO of Alkhidmat”
Karachi, March 30, 2025 (PR) – The Chief Executive Officer of Alkhidmat, Naveed Ali Baig, stated that on Eid-ul-Fitr, the poor, the needy, and the destitute should be remembered and included in the festivities. He emphasized that Palestinian Muslims are facing the most difficult situations and times, and they should not be forgotten in our happiness. Instead, they should be included in our special prayers. Prayers should be made for the freedom of Palestinians and the end of their suffering. He made these remarks in a statement regarding Eid-ul-Fitr yesterday.
Naveed Ali Baig further mentioned that as Muslims, it is our duty to remember our Palestinian brothers and sisters during times of joy. He also appealed to the people of Pakistan, particularly the residents of Karachi, to remember Palestinians in Eid gatherings and events. He added that over 50,000 people have been martyred in Palestine, including a large number of children and women, and bombings are still ongoing.
Naveed Ali Baig shared that Alkhidmat has already sent 24 consignments of relief supplies to Gaza, and this effort is ongoing. He also urged Alkhidmat staff and volunteers to remember their Palestinian brothers and sisters during Eid-ul-Fitr. He further emphasized that sharing the joys of Eid with the needy and destitute is a Sunnah of the Prophet (PBUH). All those deprived of the basic necessities of life should also be included in the celebrations of Eid.
