TÍKA organizes Iftar and dinner for Alkhidmat’s Aghosh Home children

Turkish welfare organization TÍKA recently organized an Iftar and a grand dinner for the children of Alkhidmat Karachi’s Aghosh Home. On this occasion, the children were also given Eid gifts and allowances. TÍKA highly praised Alkhidmat for its efforts in supporting orphaned children and its continuous contributions to their well-being. The event was graced by Halil Ibrahim Basaran, TÍKA Karachi Program Coordinator, as the chief guest. Also present were Alkhidmat Karachi Executive Director Rashid Qureshi, Aghosh Home Manager Muhammad Farooq, and other officials. Speaking at the event, Halil Ibrahim Basaran expressed his joy at visiting Alkhidmat Aghosh Home, stating that the way orphaned children are being cared for here is exemplary. He emphasized that supporting orphaned children is a great responsibility and a noble Sunnah of the Prophet (PBUH). He reassured that TÍKA will always stand alongside Alkhidmat and will continue its cooperation in the future. Executive Director Rashid Qureshi highlighted that Alkhidmat is currently supporting thousands of children across 22 Aghosh Homes in Pakistan. “These children are our children; it is our duty to support them and help them move forward in life,” he said. He further elaborated that Alkhidmat provides quality accommodation, education, healthcare, and recreational facilities, while also striving to nurture these children into responsible and successful individuals who can contribute to the nation’s bright future. Rashid Qureshi expressed gratitude towards TÍKA for its continued support and collaboration, hoping that this partnership will further strengthen in the future.
